“Koti Hanuman Chaleesa Parayana Mahayajnamu” - Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam - 21st January 2024

Sri Sri Sri Durga Prasada Swami Ji, the Peethadhipathi of Sri Hanumat Diksha Peetam in Vijayawada, has undertaken the monumental task of completing 1 crore recitations of the Sri Hanuman Chalisa within a limited time frame. Recognizing the enormity of this sacred endeavor, Swami Ji has extended the blessed opportunity to Dharmasamsthapana and its devotees to participate in the “Koti Hanuman Chalisa Parayana Maha Yajnam.”

Dharmasamsthapana has a distinguished history of organizing mass Hanuman Chalisa recitations, achieving a record 1 crore chants during the global pandemic lockdown. Lakhs of devotees from across the world participated, and Dharmasamsthapana honored their devotion by performing an Archana to Lord Hanuman at the Sri Chilukuru Balaji Temple, offering prayers in the name of each participant along with their family’s name and gothra.

Sri Suresh Maharaja - President of the Dharmasamsthapan, along with Sri Ravi Kishore and Sri Narasigh Rao, undertook a visit to the renowned Vemulawada Sri Raja Rajeshwara Devasthanam. During their visit, they engaged with the temple authorities and the Archakas (temple priests) to seek their support and participation in promoting the Koti Hanuman Chaleesa Parayana Mahayajnam.

The "Koti Hanuman Chalisa Parayana Mahayajnam" Prachaara Ratha Yatra commenced with great spiritual significance from the Sri Tadbund Veeranjaneya Swamy Temple in Secunderabad. The yatra was symbolically inaugurated by Sri Sri Durgaprasad Swamy Ji, who raised the sacred Dwajam (flag) in the presence of the Temple's EO and other officials, marking the auspicious start of the procession. Sri Ravi Kishore and Sri Vuduthala Narasingh Rao from Dharmasamsthapana, along with devoted followers, actively participated in the Rathayatra. As part of the campaign, they visited various temples across the city, where the Ratham was ceremoniously welcomed with traditional rituals, encouraging devotees to join in this sacred endeavor.
