It is heartwarming to hear about
Dharmasamsthapana's initiative to help devotees worship
Lord Hanuman on HANUMAN JAYANTI 08-04-2020, during the lockdown. With
the world facing the challenges of the coronavirus pandemic, finding
solace and spiritual support becomes even more crucial. The idea of
conducting Archana and offering prayers on behalf of devotees who cannot
physically visit the temple is a beautiful way to connect with them and
extend the blessings of the Lord Hanuman. Reciting the "Hanuman
Chaleesa" a certain number of times as chosen by each devotee and
performing Archana on their Name and Gotra adds a personal touch to the
worship, making it more meaningful for the individuals involved. It is
remarkable to see how this initiative has gained so much traction, with
over 1.8 lakh devotees participating from various countries around the
world, including Abu-Dabi, Iran, Iraq, Dubai, Denmark, Italy, Australia,
US and other countries. The efforts put forth by
Sri Rangarajan ji, the Chief priest of Chilkuru Balaji
Temple, and Sri Suresham Aatmaram Mharaj, along with other
archakas, to complete the puja for each devotee is truly commendable. In
times of uncertainty and despair, acts of devotion and collective prayer
can bring comfort and strength to people. This initiative serves as a
reminder that even in challenging circumstances, faith and spirituality
can unite people across borders and offer hope. Let us hope that this
collective prayer and worship bring positive energy and well-being to
all the devotees involved and the world at large during these trying
times. May their efforts serve as an inspiration for others to find
innovative ways to support and uplift one another, even in times of
crisis.
Amidst the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, devotees in apartments and societies came together to celebrate Hanuman Jayanti, diligently adhering to social distancing guidelines.
Despite limited resources, devotees wholeheartedly contributed to the celebrations by offering Hanuman various items such as dry fruits, bananas, and flowers from their own gardens.
Some devotees, driven by a deep sense of devotion, meticulously kept track of the number of times they recited Hanuman Chalisa and shared their counts with us.
Engaging in Bhagavath aradhana and practicing Bhakti entails more than just tallying the number of times we perform these acts. It's about immersing ourselves in the service of the Lord, where the remembrance of the Lord's name takes precedence and other worldly matters fade into the background. In this sense, this practice can be considered a form of meditation – a pathway to attaining God realization. Yoga serves as the stepping stone to this profound spiritual connection.
Together, we achieved our goal of reciting with unwavering devotion on Sri Hanuman Jayanthi. One Crore Hanuman Chalisa
